In addition, VS and COD degradation reached 28% and 39%, with a VFA/alkalinity ratio of 12.793.

This result shows that pH 5.5 is an optimal condition for the LCPKS acidogenesis process at 45 ° C. This condition allows acidogenic bacteria to work optimally in breaking organic compounds into VFA. Increased VFA concentration at pH 5.5 indicates the efficiency of the high acidogenesis process.
