Ammonia adsorption equilibrium data in batch mode showed compatibility with the isotherm Langmuir model. The optimal condition for ammonia adsorption in batch mode was 0.2 g of adsorbent dose and initial concentration of synthetic waste 200 mg/l. In continuous mode, optimal ammonia adsorption performance was achieved at 5 cm adsorbent bed height and a flow rate of 15 ml/minute. Ammonia adsorption kinetics data in continuous mode showed compatibility with the Yoon and Nelson models. Adsorption time optimization showed that the 1 g dose dose adsorbent had reached equilibrium after 150 minutes.
