The adsorption and desorption of tocopherol (TP) and tocotrienol (TT) from methyl esters of hazelnut oil are crucial processes for separating and obtaining these compounds. From the results, it can be concluded that a higher CA concentration in adsorbents increases the ability of TP and TT adsorption, but decreases its desorption capabilities. This shows that CA acts as a binding site for TP and TT, so that more CA, more TP and TT can be bound. However, the bond between TP and TT and a stronger CA also makes the desorption process more difficult.
