The results of this study showed that the ratio of albumin to urine creatinine can be used as an alternative predictor of mortality in sepsis patients treated in ICU, with a sensitivity of 86.9% and specificity of 75%. Furthermore, the ratio showed a significant correlation to the increase in the deterioration of the patient's condition at the time of the second observation (T2) with a value of P <0.05.
Moreover, the ratio of creatinine albumin had a good predictor value, with a confidence interval (CI) between 69.9% to 94.5% (p = 0.020). This finding confirms the importance of this ratio as a tool to identify patients with a high risk of mortality.
