This aims to maintain the stability of the generator operation, which is influenced by a number of factors, including excitation current, power factor, number of rounds, and type of relationship (connecting Wye or Delta).

Research shows that the voltage settings on synchronous generators using Wye's relationship show better performance than Delta relationships.
