This thesis examines three maintenance scenarios with a limit of maintenance costs of Rp 100 billion for five years. The first scenario involves maintenance carried out based on periodic needs. The second scenario provides improvement in the first year, routine maintenance in the second, third, and fifth year, as well as periodic maintenance in the fourth year. The third scenario executes maintenance with a fixed cost of Rp 20 billion every year. The optimum results are obtained from the first scenario, which shows that maintenance as needed is the best choice in this condition.

Additional Analysis and Explanation

Through this research, it is proven that a systematic approach in toll road maintenance management can produce more efficient and effective maintenance. By using MMS, the toll road manager can not only plan maintenance in a timely manner, but also optimize the use of the budget. This is important considering that proper maintenance can extend the life of the road pavement, reduce the frequency of large repairs, and ultimately save long-term costs.

In addition, the evaluation of various maintenance scenarios shows that data-based planning and in-depth analysis allows managers to make better decisions.
