The results of the analysis showed that all collections of rice leaves affected by symptoms of 16 villages had a similarity of 79% based on the symptoms of viral disease. This suggests that the RTBV virus is the primary cause of tungro disease in the region. Furthermore, the PCR technique succeeded in completing DNA fragments with a size of 430 bp, which shows the presence of Rice Tungro Bacilliform Virus (RTBV) infection.
