When using 24% water, although the potential oil produced looks high, the high level of loss also shows that the use of water is too runny can result in loss of a lot of oil during the separation process. This can be caused by low viscosity and mixed density, which causes oil to be inseparable efficiently.

On the other hand, when water concentration increases to 30%, although the potential oil produced is less than 24%, the oil loss rate is significantly reduced. This shows that with increasing water concentration, the separation process becomes more effective, reducing the amount of oil lost. This could be caused by an increase in mixed density which helps the process of gravity in the separation of oil from mud.

The use of 27% water shows optimal results where the potential oil produced is still quite high, but with a fixed oil loss within an acceptable limit. This shows that there is an optimal point in the use of water that not only produces adequate oil but also minimizes unwanted loss.
