From this study, it can be concluded that the use of castor oil cleaner solutions with a concentration of 10% is more effective in maintaining color stability and reducing water absorption in the base of the denture compared to the peroxide alkaline cleaning solution. Therefore, Castor Oil-based denture cleansers can be a better alternative for patients who use dentures. In addition, peek, with low water absorption and high color stability, can be recommended as a basic ingredient of artificial dentures in clinical practice.
With this finding, it is expected to provide guidance for patients and dentists in choosing denture cleaning products that are not only effective but also safe for maintaining oral health and denture aesthetics. The use of castor oil-based denture cleansers can help to reduce the risk of water absorption and color stability problems in dentures, which can lead to improved oral health and aesthetics.
