Introduction

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L). Moench) is a versatile crop that has been widely cultivated for its grain, biomass, and forage. Three sorghum varieties, namely Numbu, Bioguma, and Super 2, were used in this study. The experiment was designed as a factorial experiment, with the first factor being the sorghum variety and the second factor being the dose of kascing fertilizer. The doses of kascing fertilizer used were 0, 7.5, 15, and 22.5 tons per hectare. The experiment was replicated three times, and the data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA).

Results

The results of this study showed that the treatment of varieties had a significant effect on plant growth, including plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, and seed weight per sample and per plot. The weight of seeds per sample, wet bar weighing, wet weight sack weight, wet root weight, and dry root weight were also significantly affected. In terms of treatment of kascing fertilizer, it was found that different doses had a significant impact on plant height at the age of 2-8 weeks after sowing (MST), stem diameter, flowering age, and seed weight. The weight of dry barren, wet root weight, and dry root weight were also significantly affected.

Interaction Analysis
