Chronic liver disease is a medical condition characterized by an abnormality that lasts continuously without healing for more than six months. Among the various extrahepatic manifestations that arise due to liver disease, skin manifestations are the most commonly found. This study aims to describe skin disorders that occur in patients with chronic liver disease treatment at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan in October 2018.

The most age distribution is found in the age group 46-55 years (30.95%), while the age group 26-35 years is the lowest (9.52%). The main causes of chronic liver disease in this study are chronic hepatitis B infections (45.2%), followed by hepatic cirrhosis (38.1%) and chronic hepatitis C (16.7%).
