The research method used is a comparative quantitative approach with a student population that uses the Tiktok Shop application, with a sample size of 100 respondents and purposive sampling sampling technique. The data used in this study is primary data. In data analysis, researchers use various methods, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression analysis, as well as partial and simultaneous tests, using SPSS software. The results showed that the video advertising (X1) variable had a positive and significant influence on student purchasing interest.

The Simultaneous Effect of Video Advertising, Discounted Prices, and Free Shipping on Buying Interests

Simultaneously, the three variables - advertising video, discounted prices, and free shipping - affecting student buying interest. The coefficient of determination test shows a fairly close relationship between the three variables with a purchase interest, with a R value of 0.686. From the Adjusted R Square value, it is known that the three variables contributed 47% to purchasing interests, while the remaining 53% was influenced by other variables that were not discussed in this study.

Conclusion

Thus, it can be concluded that video advertising, discounted prices, and free shipping are important factors that affect the buying interest of students at the University of North Sumatra. Therefore, marketers and business people who use the Tiktok Shop platform should consider optimizing the use of video advertising and offering discounts and free shipping as a marketing strategy to increase the attractiveness and interest of consumers.
