Introduction

In recent years, the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a crucial aspect of business operations. Simultaneous effect: Industrial type, board of commissioners' size, and profitability (F Test) significantly influenced the disclosure of manufacturing company CSR registered on the IDX in the 2012-2013 period. That is, the three variables together play an important role in encouraging CSR disclosure.
Partial effect: Partial analysis (T test) shows that only the size of the board of commissioners has a positive and significant influence on CSR disclosure. Industry type and profitability do not have a significant influence.

These results show that manufacturing companies with larger boards of commissioners tend to be more open in expressing their CSR activities. This could be because the larger board of commissioners has a greater capacity and resource to oversee and encourage companies to run CSR programs.

Moderation of Institutional Ownership

This study also investigated the effect of institutional ownership moderation on the relationship between independent variables and CSR disclosures. However, the results showed that institutional ownership was unable to moderate the relationship. That is, institutional ownership has no significant effect on the level of CSR disclosure.
