Introduction

Background of the Study

In a study conducted by Sinta Febriana Tarigan (2010), under the guidance of Dra. Ramona Ri Hasibuan, MP and other examiners, examined the influence of leadership on employee work discipline at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan. The study used a descriptive and quantitative method, collecting primary and secondary data through interviews, distribution of questionnaires, and documentation studies. The analysis technique applied was a statistical method using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 14.0 to calculate the T test and determine identification (R2).

The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between leadership on the increase in employee work discipline at PT Telekomunikasi Tbk Medan, with an influence level of 35.3%.
