PT. Pos Indonesia is a government organization that has been providing communication services to the community for many years. With the advent of digital technology, the organization has undergone significant changes, expanding its services to include digital payment systems, money transfer, and bill payments. However, to achieve its goals, PT. Pos Indonesia must apply transformational leadership principles and digital transformation strategies effectively.

Transformational leadership is an approach that inspires and motivates team members to achieve maximum potential. In the context of PT. Pos Indonesia, transformational leadership is essential for encouraging innovation and adaptation to change. However, the application of transformational leadership in the Kisaran Post Office is not straightforward. The study aims to understand how executive managers apply transformational leadership and determine the role of digital transformation in improving organizational effectiveness.

Methodology

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the application of transformational leadership and digital transformation in PT. Pos Indonesia. Purposive sampling techniques were used to select three informants as sources of information. Primary data was obtained through structured interviews with informants, while secondary data was obtained from literature reviews, researchers' observations, and documents obtained during the study. Data analysis was conducted on an ongoing basis until the data analyzed reached saturation.

The results of the study showed that:

Executive managers in the Kisaran Post Office do not apply pure transformational leadership styles, but use mixed leadership styles. This may lead to a lack of focus on individual development and increasing employee morale.
The application of digital transformation in the Kisaran Post Office is quite good, but it is still not optimal, with some errors that occur during the implementation process.
