Heart disease failure, also known as heart failure, is a complex medical condition that can result in changes in the structure and function of the heart. Echocardiography before repatriation is carried out to assess LV's diastolic dysfunction, and follow-up for rehospitalization is carried out through telephone calls 30 days and telephone calls 6 months after the return.

From a total of 93 patients studied, it was found that 40 patients (43%) experienced diastolic dysfunction of LV Grade I, 22 patients (23.7%) grade II, and 31 patients (33.3%) grade III. A total of 34 patients (26.6%) experienced rehospitalization within 30 days after return, while 21 patients (26.6%) experienced rehospitalization within 6 months. The analysis shows a significant relationship between the degree of LV diastolic dysfunction before the return and rehospitization at 30 days after the return (p value 0,000), but not at 6 months after the return (p value 1,000).

Discussion

The results of this study indicate that the degree of LV diastolic dysfunction is more severe before the patient is discharged closely with an increased risk of rehospitalization in 30 days. This indicates the importance of a careful evaluation of the diastolic function of HFREF patients before returning.
