Sufficient funds, capital, and financing are necessary to build an evenly distributed economy, ultimately benefiting the community, as mandated in the 1945 Constitution.

Background

North Sumatra is a province in Indonesia that has been the focus of this study. The object of study is the influence of economic factors, such as gross regional domestic product (GRDP), interest rates, and exchange rates, as well as infrastructure factors, such as roads and electricity, on investment in this province. The method employed is econometrics, utilizing secondary data collection in a quantitative manner from 1980 to 2016.

The analysis used in this study is based on econometric methods, which involve the use of statistical models to analyze the relationship between economic and infrastructure factors and investment in North Sumatra. Electricity: The availability of electricity has a significant positive influence on investment, emphasizing the importance of energy access to the sustainability of business activities. This suggests that access to reliable and affordable electricity is essential for businesses to operate and invest in North Sumatra.

Conclusion

Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of managing economic factors and infrastructure to increase investment in North Sumatra. Government policies that focus on increasing GRDP, interest rate control, exchange rate stabilization, and the development of road infrastructure and electricity supply will greatly support an increase in investment. With improvements in this area, it is hoped that a better investment climate can be created, which in turn will encourage higher economic growth and community welfare.
