Introduction

The utilization of labor guarantee services (Jampersal) in Deli Serdang Regency is a pressing concern, with a mere 6.8% of eligible individuals taking advantage of this program. Methodology

A cross-sectional study with an explanatory analytical survey design was conducted in Beringin District, Deli Serdang, in 2013. A total of 210 postpartum mothers were randomly selected using a combination of cluster sampling and convenience sampling. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire, and analyzed using double logistics regression with a significance level of α = 5%.

Clinic: Improve the quality of services and delivery facilities to attract more mothers to use Jampersal.
Deli Serdang Regency Health Office: Introduce and socialize the Jampersal program that has been transformed into a National Health Insurance (JKN) managed by the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS). Consider not limiting JKN financing for only 3 children, and provide subsidies for the child's next childbirth.
Deli Serdang Regency Government: Coordinate with BPJS to re-census residents to ensure all residents get JKN access and have good health insurance.

By increasing access and knowledge about Jampersal, it is hoped that this program can be maximized to improve the health of mothers and infants in Beringin District, Deli Serdang.
