The Influence of the Spirit of Entrepreneur and the Family Environment on Entrepreneurial Interest in the Cadre of Tanjung Morawa District

Introduction

In the world of entrepreneurship, interest in entrepreneurship is one of the most crucial factors that encourage individuals to start a business. The spirit of entrepreneurship and family environment are two significant variables that can influence entrepreneurial interest. This study aims to investigate the impact of these two variables on entrepreneurial interest among cadre mothers in Tanjung Morawa District. By involving 144 cadres as a population and 56 respondents chosen through the Purposive Random Sampling method, this study aims to reveal how the two variables contribute to entrepreneurial interest.

Although the spirit of entrepreneurship does not show a significant effect, the family environment is proven to be a key factor that can encourage cadre mothers to start and run a business. Therefore, it is essential for related parties, such as the government and educational institutions, to create programs that support the development of entrepreneurship and strengthen the role of the family in this process. Thus, we can increase the number of quality entrepreneurs and contribute positively to the local economy.
