Results

The results of this study showed that the Pelita Village Government experienced a number of obstacles in terms of transparency. First, the community does not have adequate access to documents related to the management of village funds. The service procedures implemented by the village government are also still oral, without the standard format that can be accessed by the community. In addition, there is no clear place or mechanism for the community to submit complaints related to violations that may occur.

Cooperation between Village Governments

Cooperation between Pelita Village governments is also recorded in less harmonious, which has a negative impact on the implementation of development. The participation of the community in every phase of development is also considered inadequate. The space for community participation to be actively involved in the supervision and implementation of village fund management policies is very narrow.

Analysis of this condition shows that to increase the transparency of village funds, it is important for the village government to make the community as objects as well as subjects in the development process. The community needs to be actively involved in planning and implementing, so that they can oversee the use of village funds and prevent misappropriation.

Recommendations

It is important for the village government to improve service procedures, by providing clear and easily accessible documents, as well as building effective complaints mechanisms. This effort will optimize the use of village funds and make development in Pelita Village more transparent and accountable. Thus, it is hoped that the welfare of the community can improve on an ongoing basis.
